Join our group of passionate and enthusiastic volunteers

By becoming a CHCS volunteer, you are contributing to our mission of improving the lives of people with mental health disorders, substance use challenges and intellectual and developmental disabilities. CHCS Volunteers assist in various ways including data entry, events, and administrative work, and find the experience deeply rewarding.

Once the application has been received, you will be contacted to schedule your orientation. All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, and must complete a background check.

Join the CHCS Planning & Network Advisory Committee

The Center for Health Care Services’ (CHCS) Center Advisory Committee (CAC) currently is for individuals who wish to learn about the services provided at CHCS, provide meaningful input to the board about the policies, processes, and services, and help inform leadership about experiences to improve care and delivery of services. The CAC consist of representatives of  individuals being served by CHCS in terms of demographic factors such as geographic area, race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, disability, age, and sexual orientation. CAC is a public volunteer committee that seeks to incorporate meaningful participation by adult consumers with mental illness, adults recovering from substance use disorders, and family members of CHCS.
