18th Annual Behavioral Health & Wellness Conference

This one-day conference for families, consumers, caregivers, and professionals features free educational workshops about mental health topics/resources and a health/wellness resource fair.

New Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Residential Treatment Program

In response to the opioid epidemic in Bexar County, The Center for Health Care Services has begun treating women who are pregnant and addicted to heroin or other opioids.

CHCS Foundation Receives Generous Gift for Treehouse Learning Centers

The Harvey E. Najim Family Foundation recently awarded The Center for Health Care Services Foundation a $50,000 gift for the development and implementation of Treehouse Learning Centers at two of CHCS’ Children’s Behavioral Health clinics. Treehouse Learning Centers provide a special place for school-aged children with behavioral health issues to address academic challenges.
