The Center for Health Care Services employs nursing staff which consists of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services for consumers; assists with laboratory, EKGs and other medical treatments; psychosocials; makes assignments to LVNs and unlicensed staff; maintains pharmaceutical oversight of medication samples; and completes associated documentation for the consumer and program. The LVN provides direct nursing services for consumers and assists with laboratory, EKGs and other medical treatments. He/she maintains pharmaceutical oversight of medication samples, and completes associated documentation for the consumer and program. The nursing staff works in all CHCS programs.
