The Adult Behavioral Health division (ABH) offers comprehensive, integrated primary and behavioral health care at six area locations throughout Bexar County. Evidence-based, person-centered programs are designed to support individualized recovery goals that build upon the strengths and unique needs of the people we serve.

Through a multitude of programs and services designed to promote mental and behavioral health, the Children’s Behavioral Health division (CBH) cares for children ages 0-17 from all socio-economic groups without discrimination or ability to pay. Treatment programs range from teaching parents how to care for babies with development delays to ongoing therapy and support for children with mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder and/or schizophrenia.

Restoration and Transformational Services helps people break the cycle of addiction and regain sobriety through safe, meaningful programs that reduce harms associated with substance use, promote total recovery for people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and provide better care coordination for the most acute people in Bexar County.
The causes of homelessness are diverse and can feel overpowering. The Center offers a portal to change – psychological, medical and social assistance that leads to secure shelter, productivity and independence.

By promoting dignity and choice for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Long-Term Care Services helps improve the quality of life for consumers and their loved ones through programs designed for inclusivity, accessibility, and independence. Staff provides care in a warm, nurturing and playful environment that offers consumers an opportunity to have fun with peers, learn how to better care for themselves, establish and maintain employment, and overall, achieve a new found richness and zest for life!
