CHCS embraces a comprehensive approach to treatment and recovery. Our outpatient treatment model brings other specialties and disciplines into the treatment team to help you achieve your recovery goals. Medication may help manage symptoms while you work with your treatment team to build and expand coping skills and self-care strategies for recovery.

Your interdisciplinary treatment is composed of individuals who work together to coordinate your medical, psychological, emotional, therapeutic, and recovery support needs, and may consist of a combination of medication, care management, counseling and nursing services. Your treatment team may consist of a combination of team members including, peers, family partners, care managers, licensed clinicians, nurses, and medical prescribers. You may meet with different members of your treatment team multiple times per month. Our outpatient treatment programs have proven to be effective for long term recovery. If these services are not for you, please let the clinician know you would like to be referred to a community-based provider.

Using a reoccuring assessment, your treatment team will work with you to develop a recovery plan based on your individualized goals. These are items that you and your treatment team have agreed are important for your recovery and growth. The Recovery Plan means that you are making a commitment to work on these specific areas to help you reach recovery.
